Every way to start a new video project from the home page or new-project picker:

### Workflow agent (home page)

The home page hero accepts a natural-language prompt. VideoGen's workflow router suggests the best workflow(s) to start based on your description.

### Script-to-video wizard

1. **Style step:** Pick visual style (stock footage, AI image style, or a visual style entity). Configure post-production toggles and aspect ratio.
2. **Writer step:** Write or paste a script. An AI assistant chat panel helps draft and refine the script. Generate video runs the full pipeline.

### Voiceover-to-video wizard

1. **Upload step:** Select an audio file.
2. **Style step:** Same visual style picker as script-to-video.
3. **Review step:** Shows uploaded file, transcript (from audio), and generate controls.

### Slideshow-to-video wizard

Upload a PDF or PowerPoint file. VideoGen narrates each slide into a walkthrough video.

## Project editor

A project moves through steps: **workflow wizard** (if started from a workflow) → **editor** → **preview** (finished video screen).

### Editor layout

- **Canvas:** visual preview of the current frame.
- **Timeline:** sections, assets, narration, and timing.
- **Left panel tabs** (side panel):

### Insert tab: media tools

Tools available when inserting assets into the timeline:

- **Upload search:** find files you have already uploaded.
- **AI video clip:** generate a short clip from a prompt, image, or video.
- **AI image:** generate an image from a prompt or transform an existing image.
- **AI avatar:** generate a talking-head clip with TTS voice and presenter.
- **Stock library:** search standard (and premium, with add-on) stock footage and images.
- **Text, shapes, tables:** design elements.
- **AI voiceover (TTS):** synthesize speech from text.
- **AI sound effects:** generate sound effects from a prompt.
- **Music library:** browse royalty-free music tracks.
- **Wikimedia:** search Wikimedia Commons media.

When an image or video asset is selected on the canvas, additional utility tools appear: vectorize to SVG, remove background, upscale, and add 3D motion (parallax) to stills.

### Remix tab: bulk actions

One-click AI operations on the entire project:

| Add transitions | Stamp transitions between sections and assets. |
| Translate project | Translate script, narration, and on-screen text. |
| Generate music | Create a background music track from a prompt. |
| Upscale all assets | Increase resolution of images and videos (Pro). |
| Change format | Resize the project to a different aspect ratio. |
| Restart workflow | Spin off a new project from the same workflow inputs. |
| Suggest a remix action | Submit feedback for a remix action you want. |

Structured remix actions (also available via API and during workflow generation): set background music, set logo overlay, enable/disable captions, add transitions, edit with agent (natural-language edits).

### Preview screen

After generation completes, the preview screen shows the finished video with:

- Play, pause, and timeline scrubbing.
- Share (public view link).
- Edit (return to editor).
- Remix shortcuts.
- Export to MP4.
- Rate UX and video quality; message the feedback assistant.

### Export & sharing

- **Export:** render the project to MP4. Poll until the download URL is ready.
- **Share project:** invite teammates or external emails to collaborate.
- **Public view link:** `https://app.videogen.io/view/<exportUrlSlug>` (shareable playback page for a finished export, may be watermarked on free tier).

Standalone generative tools with a history panel. No project or timeline required. Deep-link to a specific tool with the `tool` query param (e.g. `?tool=GENERATE_IMAGE`).

- **Teams:** shared organizational unit with multiple members, centralized billing, and shared assets.
- **Invite members:** from the Team page or sidebar team selector.
- **Real-time collaborative editing:** multiple team members can edit the same project simultaneously.
- **Scoped resources:** projects, media, entities, and presets can be personal or team-owned.
- **Domain-based join:** teammates with matching email domains can discover and join your team from the home page.
